It's 2007: The Year of the Grunt!!! Wild Horses on my side bar!!! I love exclamation marks!!!!!!!!

Welcome 2007. Please don't kick my ass. I have a new Youtube clip down on my sidebar. It is Gram Parsons doing the Jagger/Richards song "Wild Horses". Actually, Kief wrote the song and Gram liked it and recorded it first. I like Gram Parsons a lot and this version kicks the Stones version's ass in my humble opinion. This song and the spirit of Gram will inspire me for the year 2007 to make this the Year of the Grunt. Yeah, leave it to me to be inspired by a guy who od'ed and whose friend stole his corpse and burned it to ash in the Joshua Tree Desert. Anyway, it's officially The Year of the Grunt--ahoy, Gruntonians, this includes you too!

Hey this is a nice blog, too. :)

very entertaining.
I enjoyed the youtube clip. i really love certain music for the nostalgia as well as the sound. Some times music makes me way too meloncholy, though. I find it painful to listen too.
So what do i do? I go out of my way to find it so i give myself a heartache. *sigh*

I hope your mouse troubles are over. You don't have a cat I gather?

And I thought 2007 was going to be MY year! I'll fight you for it.

I have to agree. It does kicks the Stones version's ass. I always thought the Joshua Tree Desert story was too creepy. I couldn't imagine burning my friend's body. Ugh.

I'm an exclamation point junkie!!! !!!!!!! You know that just from chatting with me!! I love em!! Can't use em enough!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes I wonder, though, if the people I email or chat with find em annoying?!?! !

I'm stoked to be part of the year of the Grunt. You should make up your own symbol, like Prince.

I hate beta blogger and the comment box, I commented last night but it made me log in in google account - I love this song, and I wanted to say happy new year to you too.

I have a version sung by a country star too, will try to look it up and tell you who, it is on a rolling stone tribute called stone country I think.

I hope for a great new year for me too. QT
