Things that used to be funny (a new theme).
Steve Martin. What in the hell? I think the last funny thing he did was Bowfinger and that was just one thimble full of wet in a Sahara-sized dry spell of comedy. He used to be my comedy hero. His stand up routines were absolute genius. Now, I think the best thing that he has going for him is his banjo playing, and I don't mean that as a cut. I'm thinking that it is time for him to move on and to stop embarrassing himself and making Peter Sellers spin in his grave. But, Steve, if you are reading this, I think that a good way to revive your comedy career would be to change Leslie Nielsen's diapers on live TV, thus, killing two birds with one stone.
His book "Born Standing Up" is a fairly interesting read. Not overly funny, but will remind you of the days when he was funny.
Actually he was fucking hilarious when he was on the Colbert Report a couple weeks ago. I will grant him that. But when was the last time he made a funny movie???
Scott~ I think he still has it in him, but his attempts to get the box office have compromised his matured talents.
QT~ King Tut!
Chris~ That was a terrific movie. He's done good work since, but recently he has me shaking my head.
Julie~ The Muppet Movie soundtrack was the first LP I ever owned.
Christielli~ He's still funny, but it doesn't seem like he is that careful about what major motion picture crap he's putting out there. Anyway, wish I caught that Colbert Report.

I used to think his comedy was genious as well. The only good thing that he does now is show up on SNL once a year. That and the Banjo.
I liked him too! he was a hoot when he was on SNL and I would babysit until after midnights on Saturdays and LMAO at the funny stuff-
His Rupric The Monkey Boy in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels was genius.
I won't even watch the Pink Panther remakes. Too terrified. I thought he was outstanding in The Muppet Movie.

Yeah, he tried for a while to get too smart with his comedy, then all of a sudden -- WHAM! Two pieces of retarded pink panther shit in a row.
