TIGF!!! Kind of: click the link for the gay chicken and ice cream song

Clickity Click Me!!!

Those two tracks were from The Last House On The Left soundtrack, Wes Craven's first horror film--very gay and very funny songs throughout. It is a cult horror classic and very disturbing, even still. The best parts of the movie were the highly inappropriate comedic scenes/music that would intersect all of the disturbing material. That is my horror video party pick for this October weekend. Don't watch it unless you are hardcore. There are parts of the movie that feel like you are watching a snuff film.

I will be doing horror movie picks on Fridays instead of TIGF this month. Let me know if you've seen any of these or if you do see them and what you thought.

Awesome! My favorite thing about October is you can turn the TV on any night and catch a horror flick.

My wife and I rented Hostel and suffered through it. Afterwards I said to my wife that I would rather have had my eyes gouged out and my testicles ripped off than to have watched that movie.

Oh wait, didn't that happen in the movie?

So long as you include Peter Jackson's Dead or Alive (also called Braindead), we're still friends. The Evil Dead series is my all-time favorite though, even if the 2nd and 3rd are hardly horror.

Although I prefer reading my horror stories, really bad movies that have absolutely no rdeeming social value whatsoever seem to have the greatest attraction to me. Recently Japanese horror just plain freaks me out. Maybe its the language...

I'm not into the traditional horror movie. But I do like Tim Burton movies.

Julie~ Me too!

Chris~ Good to see you back again, man! I saw Hostel and I agree with you on it being torture to watch.

Jay~ I've seen Dead or Alive and it is gloriously twisted. The Evil dead trilogy is the best!

NYD~ The only thing that I don't get about Japanese horror is why their ghosts look like drowning victims. Why??? Are there lots of drownings going on over there? Are you covering them up???

Christielli~ Tim Burton has a cool sense of style in his movies. I'd like to see him do a western. I think he could really bring something new to the table there. I'm serious!

That was the creepiest soundtrack I've ever experienced ;)
