Smile on your brother...

Happy Human Rights Day, Martin Luther King Day, or Monday off. Whatever you prefer there. I'm going with my Uncle Marty. People who really know me will get that reference. Besides, I have diversity in my blood--my brother is a Mexican bandito. I find it odd that I look like I am straight out of Mayberry and he looks like an extra from a Sergio Leone flick. This is what happens when an Indian Chief sells his daughter to an English dude for a bag of gold.

So, I am mostly English blood, then Danish, with a smidgen of "Runs with Deer". My brother gets a cool complexion out of the deal, though. I don't, but at least I never wear cowboy hats and look as though banjos are my life's soundtrack. He really isn't a redneck, but sometimes he just makes bad style choices.

BTW, that Mad Max looking jalopy was Clyde before I worked my magic on him. I prefer to be talented rather than special.

We are part NY Iroquois on my father's side. I have cousins that look like they have stepped right out of the t-pee.

Nessa~ I once went to a family reunion and thought I was crashing a Tongan cultural festival. It turns out that side of the family married into that ethnicity/race. The food was great so long as your needs were not kosher.

Kels~ You would look good in a cowboy hat. Of course, you'd look good in anything.

Chandra~ Well, I guess you could look at it this way: your country treated its minoritys with enough regard so as not to warrant a great man such as Dr. King. I often wonder what it would be like to be Canadian.

RZV~ Your description of yourself sounds just like a boss I had once. He was nice to me and always gave me money if I'd listen to his rants. It pays to be a good listener sometimes.

Well we got the mountains and some pure water that we're supposed to be all so excited about. After watching the Kingdom... I have to admit I am privileged to live in a non developing country with no war. There's been a lot of issues over if Clinton gets into office that it will be bad for Canada. I thought she was good and thought having a woman would be great, but after watching Sicko I wouldn't trust her about as far as I could throw her. Health care aside.... something I never thought about was dealing with places like Sudan where women don't have choices/opionions... how would she be able to go to meetings with them?

We have Jean Bapiste day... Some french Canadian did something fabulous that I didn't study enough about in school. Umm if you come to Canada... well at least where I am, I... yes a white woman is a minority. I'm not political I am not a racist but it pisses me off that veterans get less money than "the just off the boat" people.

I guess everyone has its faults and positives. I want to be American so I can go to UNLV.
