Weird Dream Time

I am famous for having weird dreams. I could do a rather large post on the subject, but I'm so tired that I could fall off my own ass right now. So, I'll just type until I can't stands it no more. Shit, I'm turning into Popeye!

In this dream I was at the dentist. I went into the room to get my checkup and the dental assistant asked me to take my jaw off and set it on the table. She really didn't say that, but that's what the understanding was, like that was the normal thing to do. So, off with my jaw. That little bubblegum-mushing bugger started vibrating on the stainless steel tray like it was a cell phone. It frightened me, so I asked the assistant what was wrong with it and she said to look in this one particular molar. The molar was the size of a soup bowl now, and had all this black, hairy tar floating around inside it. I told her that I couldn't see past the filth and she cleared out the cavity. Down in the bottom of the cavity was my spine. I was partly disgusted but mostly amazed. I reached down into my molar, grabbed my spine and lifted it up. When I did this I found that I also rose along with it. I did this a couple of times, then the assistant did it as well. This was beyond weird. Maybe, this comes from huffing too much starting fluid when I was a teenager--dude, I'm an eeeeagle!

Dude,
That IS a weird dream!
I tend to have incredibly mundane dreams most of the time puctuated by seriouslyt heinous nightmares.
I prefer the mundane.

i'm thinking about starting a blog about my very odd dreams...
i've shared some of them with my friends and one friend in particular bought me a dream-catcher for xmas... the other day i was relating to him a very odd dream i had that had him in it and he says "wow, i guess that dream-catcher is coming in handy"... indeed it is!!
you're very creative and so i'm not surprised you have such weird dreams...
*looks over your spine* yes, mostly fascinated as well...

They get weirder, too. I don't even want to go into my nightmares. Those will be used to write novels.

Vera, I enjoy being called creative now. However, growing up it was like a curse to me. I had the genetics for football but the brains and desire for this stuff. Needless to say, the fellow jocks didn't get me at all, it was mutual, and the other creative types didn't think I was hip enough to hang with them. The rest of my high school thought I was a stoner, because my former best friend sold them their drugs. My yearbook shouldn't have a picture of me, rather, a question mark. It's taken me 'till now to realize that it might have been the ugly experience I needed. God is laughing right now.

tbph, i think whatever experiences you have had has increased your creativity factor. but i do know what you mean but "curse". like you, it was/is rare when anyone ever "gets" me. i always find hybrids very interesting and am drawn to them and their "works".

Now that you mention the word "hybrid", did anyone catch last nites South Park? That thing with people getting high of their own farts, classic.

Wow Vera, I hope this means I'm like that dude from Underworld, 'cause that would be totally righteous!

That is some messed up dream! I've had dreams of coming down a waterslide of some sorts with psychedelic colours light the inner walls of it. I think my parents may have been hippies.

Guggs, I've had waaterslide dreams before, too. One in particular was special, though. It was a water slide made of naked girls. That was the best. I think I had that one when I was probably fifteen.

Wots: It is gross, but if I had my choice the dream would have involved more of the floating around holding on the spine stuff. It felt cool.

That's probably a cool dream upon reflecting in the morning, Thomas. However, I bet it is terrifying and insane while dreaming it.
