Freakin' Allergies

Head throbbing. Nose stuffed up. Eyes itchy. Bleh. Still doesn't explain all the farting.

Feel better soon. My older son gets seasonal allergies, and I feel so bad for him. Can you try Alavert?

and/or Gas-X?

Eating a diet too rich in starch (which breaks down into sugar) or sugar itself will cause gas. Eat raw fruit, veggies and a little bit of steak for a week and you will be virtually gasless.

I don't have a home remedy for allergies. I'm stuffed up too. Blaming the snow mold.

I hate it when my comments get left by the wrong profile. Grr.

Julie~ I usually stick with over the counter Claritin, but if things get worse I'll have to see my doctor.

Nessa Roo~ Hey, so long as nobody gets hurt, right?

Jules (from super secret blog)~ Snow mold is probably more prevalent where you live. I don't mind farting, when I can, but that gassy bloat is no fun.

Jules (smiley picture one)~ I used to have an alter ego in the blogosphere, but nobody cared. It's still out there somewhere.

Christielli~ Finally, someone gets that this was all just a setup for a good ol' fart joke! I really have allergies, though.

does lighting a fart really work? Hmmm? Does it?

Tys~ The answer is yes, farts do light on fire. The question is whether or not you enjoy singed pubic hair and a scorched hole. I know this from personal experience and it did wonders for my reputation in The Boy Scouts.
