A quick question and a small post about the Holocaust

I still make it a point to reply to most of your comments. Do any of you go back and read them? You know, because I feel that they can be better than my posts. Why? Because they are tailor made just for you, my little Gruntonians.

A few weeks ago, I was at work and talking to a bunch of other guys about stuff and things...and, you know, stuff. Well, one of the younger dudes starts going on about his hurt back and how he needs a massage. I too was hurting a bit and said, "Wouldn't it be nice to have your own Geisha girl?" This dude looks at me with a confused disgust and I asked him what was the matter. He said, "Geisha girls? Weren't they responsible for the Holocaust?"

Byeeeeeee!

I'm a 50/50 girl... sometimes I go back (usually if I feel like I've commented with rather profound words. Or not).

This man-boy's comment is probably just because kids today are stupid.

It's a supremely weird world you live in. I'm glad I'm a crazed shut in.

LMAO at dude's comment. Did he sleep through history class!

I sometimes go back and read comments, but often I forget to. Will try to be better about that! Tailor-made comments are fun!

There are some blogs I don't go back and read comments, but I try and get my customized grunt wisdom on your blog... mainly cause I know you take time to respond usually.

Perhaps if there were Geisha girls giving massages in Germany, the Nazis would've been less stressed (or crazed) about the state of their economy and not blamed the Jewish people (and a host of others) for all the problems they were facing at the time. So I guess indirectly, they could've been a factor in the Holocaust? Of course, I jest. You can clearly see they didn't do a good job in Japan, which ended up causing significant damage to American and Chinese lives. Seriously though, Geisha girls responsible for the Holocaust? Wow.

like jason, i often go back to read what you have responded because you take the time to go back and look what we've said and comment specifically. it's like a nice short conversation.

Megan~ I think the dude is a bimbo--if that is possible for a dude. I enjoy anytime you choose to grace my blog, profound or otherwise.

Julie~ It's the same world, just filtered through my strange mind. It also helps that since I am weird that I know other weird people.

Christielli~ The kid is an airhead. He once told me about his "immortal enemy". He cracks me up because he's so sincere and thinks that he knows what he's talking about. BTW, he is attending college. Yay, future leaders!

Jason~ I don't feel so wise sometimes, but I'll take what you said as a compliment. As for the dude, the only possible thing that I figured he thought I was talking about was the Gestapo, because of the "G".

Vera~ You are my special little unicorn, curator of my weird music, and a true Gruntonian.

i read ur response to my comments..hell, thats the only reason I visit here during your gay fridays.. no other reasons...mind you..

geisha girls caused the holocaust? Damn...just when u think girls in painted face serving tea with a lot of fuss was safe.

Tys~ I think a little revisionist history would make for a great action film: "Geisha Girl Nazis From Hell!" Hey, I could also do "That's Incredibly Geisha Fridays!!!"

LMAO at the dude's immortal enemies. So glad that I don't have any immortal enemies. When you have immortal enemies, there is no hope!

Hey! Where did my comment go? I'm positive I put one here and just came back to see what witty things you would say back...

Christielli~ I have an immortal enemy and his name be Satan, OMG!!!

Jules~ Come on, you need to give me something to play off of for the witty comment. Meanwhile, I'll make do with whatever you give me to play with.

I sometimes do, and sometimes don't. It's all part of my ongoing efforts to be completely capricious.
